Yuriko Shibagaki is a piano teacher, pianist, accompanist, licensed Music Together® director and registered teacher.

She was born in Shizuoka Japan, and started to play piano at the age of 5. After she graduated from music college in Japan, she became a piano teacher in KAWAI music school and she also worked as a pianist in Japan. Yuriko has played at cafes, bars, nursing homes and wedding parties.

After that, she moved to Pasadena, CA in 2012 and studied contemporary music. In the meantime, she was teaching piano there and working as a pianist and accompanist. She has experience with around 100 students over the last 10 years.

In 2018, Yuriko moved to Garden Grove, CA and she completed the Music Together teacher training. She is a member of the Music Teacher’s Association of California, and a pianist for Grace United Methodist church.
